Three amazing days of top class coursing run by a club who leaves nothing to chance.  First class stuff with attention to detail

While we have seen the standards rise in hare husbandry rise over the last few years Lixnaw have taken this to a new level . There hares were just fantastic in there ability to work the dogs, and make good their escape untouched

Derby Trial Stake

I think we will look back at both trial stakes and see they were full of quality........Both our winners looked well suited to Powerstown Park. Expect to see more qualifiers out of this field

WINNER

 CRITICS CLUB

This winner just got better and better every time he ran, turning in the good performance when it was most needed.  Another winner for Kyle James.......his record of Trial Stake winnrs out of only 5 litters is starting to impress.  Out of Why Tanyard Lou.....a daughter of Belle who was twice a cup semi finalist.

CALL HER NOW

This lovely bitch took my eye after her first run......Game and a hard hunter she loved the field and could run Powerstown Park well.............a litter sister to Dresden Call, who ran well in the DTS but was withdrawn.  Her Dam Call Biddy was a consistant sort on the field......being runner up 3 times and semi finalist twice.  She won open coursing at Leinster.  This is her first litter from Bexhill Eoin and its shaping up well.....another dog  Bridies Call also ran well in the DTS,  going out after 4 rounds and clocking well

 BRIGHT ENGINE
The winner seems to save his best for this field.....he was a semi finalist here in the DTS last year.

He couldnt be faulted on the day , running on strongly in the final.  His litter sister  Why Tanyard Nina is a favorite of mine who also loves a tough field. His dam is a Grace Burton winnerf and Coursing bitch of the Year whos been a great brood to own throwing her fair share of TS winners.  This years crop of Bexhill Eoins have already provided the Crohane winner Why Tanyard Ash

Getting work in every round this outing will have sharpened her up no end. Now trained in the Dunphy Kennels and well handled by Aoifa on the day......and I better add well assisted by Finbarr Nyhan!
