FERMOY FINALS


After the rain cleared we were treated to a lovely "summers" day...........and one or two fine buckles

This was a nice win for Atlantic Boss............he put up some great runs, and in the semi finals took part in one of the best buckles of the day

In the final Atlantic Boss met Sporting Rio ...........it was a close affair to halfway when Atlantic went on to a lenght lead at the turn.


A son of Janey Mac Aroo out of Atlantic Sky.............He put up some solid  runs last season , doing good clocks but missed out on finals.   Great to see him get some luck this time in the fine hands of Pat Lee,  for sporting English owners John Lester and John Bushnel

OAKS TRIAL STAKE

Some cracking bitches missed out here...........but the spoils went to a well deserved winner. The very sporting Condon family have long been part of the coursing scene and its always nice to see them get a ticket with their home bred pups............while the betting ring kept its eye on the bottom of the stake Nina was working her way to winning the top half..................only to run away with the final..........nice performance

DERBY TRIAL STAKE

 There will be some who came away from Fermoy wondering if they have seen the next Derby Champion??



Mafi Magic halfway up the field with Plus One

The Derby Trial Stake winner certainly looked the part.........he cruised to a comfortable win in every round..........excelling in the final half of the field.,........
Mafi Magic is owned by the local,  Shamrock Bar Syndicate headed by popular Fermoy sec John Healy who is celebrating 25 years in office, this year.  Its great to see his service rewarded in this way


Another super dog bred by the O`Meara Family......and ive heard a whisper of more from this litter burning up in trials.........By Bexhill Eoin....Again!! out of Chubbys Og....from the Redundant Pal / Ardnalee line that keeps coming up with stars............ well handled by trainer Donal Leahy ...........

Hotly contested 32 dog stake and worth 1200 euro to the winner  The final outcome was a well deserved win for Aghadoe Bob (Mounteden Guest  x Caoimhes Dilemma)
