Not long before the off and the Coursing season gets underway

There are reports from all clubs that hares have flourished and are about in high numbers.  This is great news and comes on the back of last seasons excellent Hares we saw running up the field.   Record numbers were released back into the wild by clubs, who did a fne job on husbandry......keeping them in first class condition.

Looks like we are set for yet another year of great coursing............this nice drizzle of daily rain will be doing its job and we can hope for good conditions underfoot for the early meetings

Heres a few pictures from this seasons hare catching with the Regional

where would coursing be without the hordes of children who love it

Please note that our Coursing meeting will now be held on

the 2nd and 3rd of October, therefore the gallop will be closed for the following short period.

Last gallop session before closing.....Wednesday 22nd September

Galloping will re-start..........................Sunday 10th October

Thank you all for your support during the past year, we hope you had a lot of winners.

Come and support our meeting,

Michael Eustace, Hon Sec.
