ALAN KELLY

Its great to see young Slippers being given a chance this year...........

Its not easy to pick up engagements as clubs often use the same Slipper.............as is the case of Rathdowney where long time Slipper Shaun McCarthy retired this year

Rathdowney CC thanks the Shaun McCarthy & family

So we saw Alan Kelly, as full time slipper this year and a excellent job he made of it, with all the turns at the. top of the field.

Like most of our young slippers Alan was born into dogs and started slipping on the gallops at home..............hes progressed through the ranks of slipping Duffers to getting his full slippers licence

If you want to see Alan at work hes due to slip again at Dundalk and  Kilcullen

Slipping Lakyle Lexie and Ashwood Dee

It can only be good for coursing that there are so many young men being given a chance to show there skills
