We see many dogs go unsighted..........and often wonder why??

Well heres one reason ive never seen put forward...........For this last Clonmel I spent time down by the slippers hut and just above. As a rule I stand near the escape to get dogs working the hare. But as Clonmel is so wide it makes focused pictures difficult...........even more so if the hare takes them to the far side of the field.

Anyway I thought it might be worth drawing attention to something my camera picked up!!..........Beware if you use "baggy Collars"

This dogs collar flipped right off
 covering his eyes
then made its way back in place!!
by the time he got to the top of the field it was inplace

ive many photos like this

just incase you thought it was a freak accident!!

heres another

Think im going to take a second look at all my coursing collars!!!!!

Makes you think before you curse you dog for going unsighted . All this seems to happen about 75/ 100 meters from slips..........just lasts a few strides while the dog is putting in maximum effort to get into full speed. I guess the head and neck action is at its most active at that point
