KNOCKGRAFFON


What a fabulous meeting.  the hares were top class and the coursing superb.

Knockgraffon are a hard working club and they got the meeting they deserved. Nothing was left to chance as the covers were brought from Clonmel and laid on the field both days

Peter O`Sullivan  shows friends the Hurley he used in the 1971 All Ireland Final when he played in Goal for Tipperary against Kilkenny.  Peter lent this Hurley to a friend 35 years ago and it has only just been returned.

Knockgraffons Working Members Stake was a clean sweep for Don Moloney who had both finalists.  He receives the Strumble Cup from Chairman John Strumble Also present Orla Strumble, Micheal Lonergan, Denise and Mairead Moloney, PJ Moloney with the dog and family members


Smokey Luke was the winner of the Loughkent Stake in Knockgraffon, Owner Tom O`Dwyer takes the trophy from president Micheal Lonergan, also present Pam Holt, seamus and AnneMarie Quirke, Emma Quirke, Elaine Cummins, Alice and Evan Prior, Andy Maloney, Ciara Quirke, Padraig Palmer and Murragh McDermott with the dog, Konan Heney.



The winner of the Mortlestown Stake at Knockgraffon cc was Tangmalangmaloo, owner Derek Kehoe takes the Barron Memorial Cup from club president Michael Lonergan. also present Chairman , John Strumble, Jimmy and Carol Scott, Tom Simpson and Minister for Agriculture Tom Heyes TD
