Cashel coursing club regret that they are unable to hold their annual coursing meeting as planned this Saturday and Sunday.
The Club experienced interference from unknown sources and in the interest of hare welfare have decided to postpone their meeting until further notice.
Cashel wish to thank their sponsors, landowners and supporters for their assistance to date and will endeavour to update the public following a meeting of the club.

Derby Trial Stake
Another top class runner for the Kyle Kennel......This lad put up some stunning runs in what could turn out to be a high quality Trial Stake. His Dam Ballyorgan was a Oaks semi finalist and has been a consistent dam of trial stake winners. From her Tullamore litter she threw Kyle James. a winner of the Desmond Cup and at Abbeyfearle. Interestingly she goes back to Cooga Flavour and is related to Same Over who ran so well in the All Age Stake at this meeting

It was great to see Tom Fitzgerald win this trial stake after 30 years of trying....This lady has "Clonmel"stamped all over her running style....she took a few smart scalps on her way to victory.....another stake that should throw future qualifiers.
Tolulas dam, Hollyoak Rayana was a consistent performer.....a semi finalist 5 times.....once in the Select Bitch stake at the Irish Cup meeting.....she won a trial stake at Galbally and was a beaten finalist twice.....trained by her breeders Hollyoak Kennels. What a Cup this turned out to be. Sadly for us all ....we only got to see the Flying Mafi Magic on Saturday..........he went up the field like a scalded cat stopping for nothing ....his mind on one thing!
In his last run he just ducked the escape in time....only to carry on and hit the back of the escape with a mighty thump. Its reported hes sore behind. I think I speak for every coursing support to wish him a very speedy recovery....what a dog
After Mafis withdrawal we thought it would be a more open affair but Mucky Eamonn had plans of his own and romped his way to victory. What a treat we are in for this year....The quality of Cup Dogs is outstanding. The Buckley / Kellerher camp must be hugely proud of this fella as hes out of their Oaks Winner Sullans Sign. We saw what he could do at Clonmel last year....it took Adios Alonso to lower his colours in the semi finals.
