Ardpatrick and Kilfinane Coursing Club have been working hard on their Field this year . New drainage has been put in place and the track is now in perfect condition. I was over there Friday and its very impressive .
Add to that... this year the Club plans to run a PUPPY STAKE......preference given to Trial Stake winners with a Winners Purse of 3000 Euro.....This is a great idea and will give supporters a chance to see this years qualifiers
The hare husbandry team are in full swing now , Sean DeBurca, Brendan Hanley and Cal ODonnel (above) are in charge and the hares are constantly supervised and protected. They were out grazing in the sunshine when I arrived.
Now in order to finance this the Club is running a Raffle ..........First Prize is a super Coursing Sapling . I was lucky enough to get some pictures of him and hes a grand pup.....I even bought some tickets myself!
