ITS GETTING BUSY
That time of years is coming up when life gets hectic......lets hope the weather hold fine!
So many people have come up to me about the blog ....I feel ashamed how lazy ive got with the writting
I will try to do more......although i doubt your much interested im my thoughts...lol
This week see the start of a very busy time....ill be in Waterford ...Borris.....Rathcormac and Knockgraffon

CLONMEL AND KILSHEELAN
We had a great days coursing at Kilsheelan.......the hares were mighty and we saw some great work. A great credit to this club.

Kilsheelan is doing great work on this field of late......with a hardworking committe they have relaid the running surface and put down a first class all weather gallop in the last few years. The gallop is run by the committee and helps fund the Clubs work
Members of Castleisland committee take a look at Kilsheelans escape...the first part is a simple
cloth that deters most dogs but any hitting it will find it gives easily , thick sponge padding lines the posts
Next comes a low wall of ex hospital mattresses...covered with a tidy screen.....effective and safe
This deters all but the most determined
A view from inside shows straw bales that slow down the few dogs that get past the second barrier
and the final hurdle that only hares get past ....well padded holes
This escape is totally unmanned...............the hares have a good run from here back to the hare park.
The "ready Flag " is put up by the Stewards that let dogs off the field.
Kilsheelans Field lies on over Twenty Acres giving them great fercilities for hares............
TIPPERARY CUP
Well done to connection of Caesar Music. Hes in flying form this year and gets better with every run.
He looks to me taylor made for the Irish Cup and his style of easing off after the first turn will help on the Limerick Field...........First class performance puts him well up the All Age list.

Swank started the meeting at a huge price and just got better and better
He put in some good runs at Lixnaw and came to this meeting spot on.
Well handled by TJ and his father , Batt....a small kennel with a big strike rate
As do the Breeders , Hollyoak Kennels....a good week for them after Beautiful Chrisys cup win at Ballyduff.
Beautiful Chrisy is a half sister to Swanks Dam......both bitches going back to the wonderful Kyle Mindy
