This was a very close run Cup............id tend to think that a bit of soft ground 3/4 of the way up the track had a effect on a couple of courses ....including the Final of this Cup.
Runner up Shoestown Blue had just taken up the lead when he met this patch and lost his action only for Donard King to surge ahead again
