NENAGH SURVIVORS

Nenagh Coursing Club at last got to show off their fine new field to the public this weekend and what a great start it was.   Its a great credit to this club that everything ran like clockwork and the hares were as good as ive seen this season.

Nenagh have held nothing back in their field preparation and the running surface for the dogs was simply perfect with a well maintained stretch thats a nice undergrowth and will be hard to better.
Pulling in two of the Countries best young slippers Richie Quinn jr and Joe Egan for the duffers , we can look forward to some great coursing in the morning on super hares.

The crowds were treated to free breakfast rolls ( courtesy of local bar   ) and a free hot Toddy....a nice touch from this friendly club

MALLOW RESULTS

Mallow Field

my first visit yet again to this fine Cork Field, set behind the gravel pit that lit up the horizon

Its a great pull that soon saw Judge John O`Connels fresh mount reduced to a well mannered 

steed after a few courses.  Hares were in good fettle and other than one wayward fella, well trained.

The Trial Stake winners looked handy enough and I think well see a few more qualifiers come out of this field.  Vacume Lizzie......only a may pup, could be a name we will see again and again.
